He was also awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for receiving the highest grade in Legal Practice I as well as a Dean’s Certificate at graduation for outstanding service and contributions to the law school community.
Billy received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia, earning a double major in Foreign Affairs and Sociology. He subsequently worked in the philanthropic non-profit sector for several years before returning to law school to pursue his lifelong career goal of becoming a family law lawyer.
